Edhat, a Santa Barbara-based news outlet, featured Spark Interactive in a May 5 article highlighting the launch of the mobile Holocaust education experience and its plans to reach students and communities throughout San Diego County.
Reporter Kathakali Nandi explored how Spark Interactive combines digital storytelling, interactive exhibits and guided discussions to help students understand the Holocaust while developing critical thinking skills and recognizing the dangers of propaganda, bias and misinformation.
The article also highlighted the flexibility of Spark Interactive’s programming, from its 90-minute classroom experience to longer visits featuring guest speakers and hands-on activities.
With support from local philanthropists and community partners, the experience is offered to schools at no cost, helping make Holocaust education more accessible to students across the region.
