More than 500 leaders from San Diego Unified got a firsthand look at Spark Interactive last week, as the immersive experience parked at the center of Patrick Henry High School's campus for a districtwide administrator day.
Principals, assistant principals, and district leaders moved through the mobile experience between sessions, experiencing the same journey through history, resilience, and hope that Spark Interactive brings students across the region. For many, it was their first time stepping inside the exhibit that their own schools will soon host.
The day offered something rare: an entire district's leadership encountering Spark Interactive's story at once, rather than one campus at a time. Administrators who greenlight programming, set the tone for their staff, and shape what students experience got to see, and feel, what it offers before it ever reaches a classroom.
A companion journey through history
Alongside Spark Interactive, leaders also had access to the Anne Frank: A History for Today traveling exhibit, giving the day a second, complementary lens on Holocaust education. Together, the two experiences underscored a shared goal: helping educators carry this history forward with clarity, care, and purpose.
What's next
Presentations to additional school districts are already planned before the summer ends, extending LLGI's reach to more educators, more campuses, and ultimately, more students across San Diego.
Each stop builds toward the same vision: education that moves minds, stirs hearts, and sparks empathetic curiosity.
